Names Daniel. Just picked up this 05 Dakota. I really like this truck and look forward to tips and advise to make it fit my personality and style. First thing I did was place some 20s off of a 05 Rumble bee with some 265-50-20" tires. Also added a fresh coat of paint that is basically the same factory blue, but I added a smidge of violet to it.

Hello everyone...

Looks real good, I'm sure you'll get some good ideas just browsing around here.
Best of luck with it and Welcome aboard.

no trimming at all. I used a tire calculator and found the best fit was the 265-50-20. It was almost an exact fit next to the stock tires and wheels.

You're gonna have to get some more pics of that paintjob in the sun when ya can, good move.

My 265/50r20s rubbed a tiny bid on the mudflap, my offset is +13. I think the rams are +19 or +18. Just enough to not rub with stock diameter.

About the struts, you probably won't notice on surface streets, but take it on the freeway and over the overpasses where the road meets the bridge you will feel "boaty." Another way to tell is to go over a speed bump slowly, let it drop down the other side and you may feel it actually hit the bumpstops. If your OEMs were replaced recently, you might not notice anything for a bit but they really don't last.

@06Dak4.7Silver, your sig pic is awesome
