As far as HP gains and fuel mileage I don't have exact numbers. Haven't put it on a dyno. Mileage is 14-16 mpg with my k&n CAI, flowmaster, and the programmer. I adjusted the speedo for my new tires (265/75r16), set the programmer to the 87 rating (still run 89 octane), bumped the top speed to 124mph, and raised the rev limiter +500rpm. I'm still playing with the rev limiter though.

Installed it tonight and did a quick drive, the added power and torque is certainly noticable, much peppier and doesnt feel as if its simply struggling to go through the gears as before.

silly question...

this is something you install, ya? not something you buy and can program you and your buddy's truck with, right?

Right, it can only program one vehicle at a time as it stores your vehicles stock settings in case you need to go back.

I know its been a few months but does anyone have a current update using the hypertech programmer on their 3.7? Im contemplating getting one mainly for a slight bump in mpg and ive been reading good things but nothing is recent. Please chime in on your experiences, thanks.

I bit the bullet and ordered a hypertech max energy programmer. There havent been too many helpful reviews for our 3.7 dakotas. I boughtine for 299 from autoanything with 6 months no interest and no payments, which should come handy for the holidays
