The programmer is alright, I've called super chips earlier this year and they said that they would be putting out a 3.7l in the spring. But anyway, I've got the hypertech and i first had it set up with the rev limiter up to +500 and the speed limiter to the 200+ and when I hit the gas I was burning rubber and you could definitely feel the difference. The only thing was that it sounded like it was going to suck my intake straight through the engine. So I currently have it at -100 and don't have the problem, but I can only tell the difference when it shifts now.

Just installed my hypertech 52501 in my 07 Dakota V6 3.7 today and this is exactly my opinion to a T. I went through some up and down roads and the car is much more responsive than it used to be. I'm hoping i'll save maybe a mpg or 2. That sluggish feel is now gone and i'm loving it. I honestly think it is overpriced but it was a much needed boost to my truck.

I emailed Superchips this last week about a possible tuner and this is what they said back...

Im sorry but we have no plans to tune the dodge 3.7, there is just not enough power to be made out of that motor to be able to sell it.

Thanks

Lol! Good o'le superchips customer service. Whats funny is that Hypertech claims 25hp and 25lb/ft torque on the 93oct tune............tell me how this is not worth it, please.

If anyone from superchips is watching this thread, explain to me how they can get these numbers on a chassis dyno and you cannot (excluding the "they are liars" or "their correction factor is too high" claim, or "they are using the wrong dyno").

Just got done with a whole tank of gas after installing the hypertech. I actually got an extra 20 miles for the tank and I was flooring it a lot so I could hear my new exhaust and intake. What I like most about the hypertech is that it keeps the rpms much lower on the highways. Ive also experienced much less droning on the highways as well.

Is anyone with a Hypertech planning on running on a Dyno anytime soon? I am curious if their claim to fame of 25 HP is true or not.

Hey guys, can anyone tell me if the hypechips can be used on more than one rig? Like can you share it with another person? Also, can you tune back to stock settings or can you pass inspection with the advanced setting?
