Question Thoughts about painting interior?

I have recently added new seat covers to my truck, as the others were worn out. The new seat covers are very similar in color to these http://www.amazon.com/Bucket-Seat-Co.../dp/B003MY2K9A and I was thinking about painting the interior to match. The spots I was interested in painting are the creamish colored parts of the door panels and basically everything that is the same color as those, including the "oh sh**" handles. Also, the radio bezel I would paint blue. This would leave the gray colors and that color blue.
I think it would look better black on blue, but do not want to change out the carpet and everything to match. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. If someone is good with photo shop and could show how something like that would look, I would be very thankful, or if anyone has pics of interior painting, please post or send me links because I can't find much of anything by searching (I thought I had read a thread where someone painted their radio bezel blue, but can't find it). Thanks!

I've always been a bit leary of painting the interior as I had quite a few friends that did it back in high school and it always started cracking and peeling in a year or two. That said I can't guarantee they did the proper prep work either. Something to think about though, surfaces you're rubbing against or grabbing regularly seem like it won't be conducive to the paint staying scratch/scuff free.

I don't know how much ricer quality it will be, although I could see that. I have just been getting tired of the same ole neutral colors and just want to spice it up a little. erau, ghetto as in good or bad? Please explain.
My buddy did something similar to his eclipse, and it has lasted for a little over two years now without any complications. It is a little bit different material though on his door panels. Are there any pics of the radio bezels painted any other colors besides the silver and black? Thanks for input.

Look up weedahoe's threads about his custom dash bezels he does. I'd link it if I wasn't on my phone. Its much cheaper to DIY, but it will give you ideas on colors. He's on YouTube too under the same name I think.

if you have the grey interior it will not look good, my radio bezel is painted body color (electric blue) and i find it looks hideous with the grey. i will be repainting it matte black in the spring.

Thanks for posting that pic. I have now decided NOT to paint my bezel body color....on the other hand, I see not that a double DIN does fit!
