Default Painting stock rims

Hello. Im new to the forum and would like to share a picture of the stock rims that I painted.

The process was actually quite simple and only took around 2-3 hrs of work.

Let me know what you think

Looks pretty good, looks aftermarket. What paint did you use, and what kinda prep? love the tires too. You should put a pic up of the whole truck when you're done.

Welcome aboard!! I thought of doing something similar when I painted my rims but didn't think of this. Nice work, it looks good. Can't wait to see them on the truck

Procedure:
1. clean rims (remove dirt/dust) / dry
2. tape off sections where you don't want paint to be
3. using special wheel spray paint, spray on an even coat. let dry and apply another coat.

Here is a picture of my truck so far.

Very nice...I was thinking of doing the same to mine. I've heard that the paint can be bought relatively cheaply at Auto Zone and holds up really well.

They look better than a lot of aftermarket wheels, awesome. Great choice on tires too.
