Also is that shock longer than stock to match the block? How big is the block?

I just picked up some 265/75/r16s for the wife's 08 Dakota and they are looking a bit big....

Good choice on those Monroe load levelers. They are a little more jittery than fresh regular shocks, but the Dak has such a rigid chassis, it's tough to tell the difference. I had them installed recently and like them. Plus they look badass!

The shocks have a substantial amount of droop travel, a couple inches of block lift won't matter.

I'm glad those load levellers work for our trucks. The guy who owned my s10 before me used those, ended up breaking the dinky leaf pin mount bolt thing right off. On a 2wd s10, the shock mounts to a plate that's attached to the leaf pack, and it's just a pin that sticks out. Like a tie rod. Lousy.
