Lol not unlesss u drop ur oil pan and remove the sludge from the pickep, just use Lucas syn. Oil stabalizer

Never heard of that additive..do a little research on it and see what other consumers say. Thats how I know to trust something anyways. Take Seafoam for example, people swear by it and I didnt have any benefits from using it. If you do your oil changes at proper intervals, which I know you do, then I wouldn't worry about too much waste in the crankcase.

It all depends on how you use seafoam, put it through the Brake Booster and let it sit a half hour and it'll do its thing, put it in the gas tank and we'll, I can't tell the difference.

I'd check it on bobistheoilguy, see what that site has to say.

Id be a little leary, only because the noisy valve train on these trucks just seems to be part of the beast. If it was a old 90's pickup with a sticky valve and I had nothing to loose by putting that cleaner in the crankcase, Id do it .... but not on a truck with less than 75k miles on it. Just my .02.

You're using synthetic oil, right?
