its not a code until its left off long enough, chrysler did this because people would pay 89$ for a diagnosis when it was just a gas cap.....so my system gets a fault ALL the time, says gascap and my gascap is on, just isnt tight enough, or your seal on ur gascap is broken or too hard. Another idea your local dealer sells a gascap that will fit your ignition key.....imo
Didnt know that about an ignition key locked gas cap, whats the dealer cost, do you have an idea?
