Default Trying to add mirrow defrosters?

I have an 06 and I already installed mirror with defrosters and a new climate controller with the defroster button. I checked under the hood and the fuse is in and it is not blow. I checked for voltage on both sides of the fuse and I have no power when the defroster button is pushed. I also tried putting a relay in where the rear defroster would be and still nothing. Am I missing something? Any help would be great.

You are going to need a dealer to "turn on" the defroster with the scan tool.

By the sounds of it you will need a dealer to StarScan the option on, I added fogs to my ST and had to get them to turn them on.
Doesnt take to long for them to do, the tool is just slow (a few minutes)

Lets hope free. Its BS to charge for something like that. Next thing you know, you'll have to star scan your seat covers before sitting on them.

It won't be free. Your probably looking at 40+

Depending on what labor rates are in your area.
