Default Strange question about center console

I'm looking at buying a 2011 Dakota. It has a center console, like about every other vehicle these days. My question is, can this console be removed? And if so how hard is it to do? I know it's an odd question, but I do have a reason to remove it.

Not as simple as you think, at least for me. Who has removed theirs and can post some pointers...where are the attachment screws? I can't, for the life of me' get the center (larger) cup holder out and I know there must be a screw under it. I'm just trying to get to the wiring for the outlet in there so I can add another one to the back seat side of the console but can't get the "halves" of the cosole to separate.

Here is information for the full console.
FULL FLOOR CONSOLE

1. Remove the rubber liner.
2. Remove the cup holder.
3. Remove the tray.
4. Remove the screws (2) that secure the floor console to the floor panel.
5. Disconnect the console assembly wire harness connector located underneath the floor console and remove the floor console from the vehicle.

1. Which rubber liner? There is one in the small tray in the very front, nothing under that. There is also one in the next next dual cup holder, again, nothing under that one.
2. How? I have tried and am scratching the plastic trying to pry it out.
3. Which tray? Inside the console or in front where the little tray is?
