Strange question about center console
I'm looking at buying a 2011 Dakota. It has a center console, like about every other vehicle these days. My question is, can this console be removed? And if so how hard is it to do? I know it's an odd question, but I do have a reason to remove it.
Not as simple as you think, at least for me. Who has removed theirs and can post some pointers...where are the attachment screws? I can't, for the life of me' get the center (larger) cup holder out and I know there must be a screw under it. I'm just trying to get to the wiring for the outlet in there so I can add another one to the back seat side of the console but can't get the "halves" of the cosole to separate.

2. How? I have tried and am scratching the plastic trying to pry it out.
3. Which tray? Inside the console or in front where the little tray is?
