I picked those 2005 20's up in September of 09, and polished them up real good and painted the lip black. I was going to wait until spring to mount them up, but kept looking for newer wheels in the meantime. I really lucked out and came across the 2009 Laramie 20's in October of 2009 and could not resist picking them up too. I sold the 2005 20's right after that, with a little profit to boot.

BTW, I use that same polish on my 20's now. Gonna polish 'em up and put 'em back on soon.

I've got a couple projects ahead of that, and some funds better start showing up or some of those projects won't even get started haha

Dakotaff, the guy who sold me the wheels said that the clear coat peeled off and that I should redo the clear coat. Do you know if that will work/what prep work is required? I'm assuming that using the polishing kit will get them in shape for paint

I guess that you have the polished aluminum wheels. Mine were the chrome clad wheels (no clear coat), for some reason there were two versions of the flower petals.
You can not paint the chrome clad wheels.
