Will this fit on my truck? I'm hopefully getting 20" Ram wheels (02-04) and I know someone who has 275 40 20 Hankook's that I can mount on them..also if I do get these..do you think I should Plastidip them since my truck is blacked out or keep them polished..

that tire size is barely 29" inches in diameter and 10.8" wide. Compared to my 265/70-17 they are 0.4" wider and almost 3" less diameter, seems to me like the would almost be too small? (diameter wise)

He has them on 05-08 20" Ram wheels so they fit fine. My only concern is that they would be too wide. They are the same height as my 245/60/16 I have now.

they are almost a 1/2" wider than mine. I have a 2" leveling kit and I have rub on the splash guards.

Did you trim at all yet? Think they'd look good on my truck though, Kent? It's hard to tell if the Dak could pull them off..and I can't find anyone in the ram section with these rims Plastidipped

I'm running 285/50/20 on Ram wheels, with some minor trimming, the width is no problem at all.

Here's your plasti dip pics.

IMO, those tires would look too small on your Dak.

I think the ram wheels look good on our trucks. Eric is running them ( I think), there was someone else once who had a set and he had to trim the **** out of the inner fenders.

Thanks guys! Nice job digging up those pictures Dakotaff. Yeah..they are pretty low pro. It dropped his Ram like 1.5" but I want these wheels strictly for the summer and I will use my painted 16" stockers for the winter. I don't like the flower petal one on the Ram that much but it looks excellent on the Dakota. Eric had the 05-08 ones on his but he sold them..I remember because I was thinking about buying them off him

There was a new member who joined a few weeks ago that had them, also had a custom paint job close to stock Atlantic blue but with more violet. They were chrome, I honestly think the black would look much better with that wheel. It never was the best looking wheel, but black seems to fit that petal shape a lot better.

I think the tires will look fine, they are wider and shorter than mine by a hair and that's kinda what I would have preferred. No offense to Eric, I'm not sure what size tire he has, but they seem to have a narrower tread than they should have which looks a little dinky on a Dakota.

I actually bought a set of those 20's, but it was just before winter and was waiting to mount tires until the weather changed.
They had a great shine, but then came across the Laramie wheels and bought them too. Sold the petals in no time.

Here is another pic for you (not my truck) with probably the same tire size you're looking at.
