so as we all know there is no worthy suspension lift for our trucks. so here is a little sneak peek of some R&D for a long travel arm kit including heimed upper arms, fully boxed, and uniball uppers and lowers, will be fitting a coilover and bypass shock, and we are all cut out
on another note, here is my airaid intake with my new k&n filter, im liking this filter WAY better..... IMG_20120221_204152.jpg
oh and a new transmission cooler, going to be switch to amsoil.....well see how that works. IMG_20120221_144002.jpg
Add more edge to your filter box... it has gaping holes on the side closest to the fender.
i would but im not so worried about it as im going to purchase a ump filter box for that filter and get rid of the stock filter, and aftermarket CAI and make my own out of 3.5 ( i think thats how big the opening is on the TB) and have it ceramic coated. http://www.uniquemetalproducts.com/dmaxpic.jpg
im sure ill end up GIVING my airaid CAI away to a forum member..., hint hint.....lol
I've heard the amsoil trans fluid will need the quick learn thing enabled on the TCM, is that true?
there will be no program ex. solid works to render this kit. It will be done all by measurements by hand and plenty years of building trucks. remember measure twice cut once haha
ive never heard of that for amsoil, but i know whenever you drain refill or do anything with the trans its always BEST to relearn the TCM. alot of people and most common procudure for that is to remove the negative battery post for a while.
