There's a new Sylvania bulb, Sylvania zXe, they are a newer light recently available.
Haven't tried them out myself.

It is simple I did it to my 05, Only downside is going to the dealer to have them activated, And that you will also (if you care for looks alot) need a new front bumper cover, or to modify your existing.
The existing doesnt have a tube/channel thing once cut out. Like the factory does. Im thinking of putting mesh and seeing how that looks before I get a new (used) one.

Heres what mine looks like for now.

Hey EVguy Im in Kamloops, and your not kidding I'm incredibly happy i found this forum its already been a huge help! Thanks Reject I was actually ganna post that exact question if anyone has done it.. I think the mesh idea would make it look a bit better but im deff interested, when you say the dealer has to activate them what exactly does that involve? do they replace the headlight controll w/ fog light or do you have them wired to a custom switch? wich brings me to another question, ive got the bull bar ordered and want the 6" PIAA's just like Dakotaff and was wondering what you guys have done with the switch for them, more or so where did u mount it and do they come with a switch?? because of the PIAA on the bull bar in the near future I was pretty inclined to the PIAA ultrawhites for the headlights cuz my ocd likes to have things matching but like I said before, I want the brightest and best light I can buy and it seems a few of you stand by the Sylvanias, basicly dont wanna go buy the PIAAs when the Sylvanias are a better choice. anyways check the carbon fiber bezel i just did today what yall think IMG_20120303_172131.jpg

That Bezel looks great. Im thinking of Painting mine.

To install them, All you need is to order OEM Spec Fog Lights and the Headlight Switch with Fog Option. (And Also Cargo Light Button)
Mine had that Harness, Relays and Fuses already installed. (05 ST Club Cab)
All the dealer does is hook up the StarScan tool and change the fogs to "Active" in the ECU. I watched him do it, Only took 5 minutes. The Tool is pretty slow at times to. He can also check codes for you to even past codes that where not cleared, He reset mine.

Fogs Install (The fogs just clip inplace, I put a 3/4 #12 or 14 Metal screw in to help hold them inplace There is a hole for a screw in them, But mine didnt come with one)

or you could be like all the cool kids (me) and buy the plug connectors and wire them up with a relay to the parking lights and put a switch in line so you can turn them on or off seperately.. i never went to the dealer... (but i'm a crazy pipe smoking idiot)

x2. halogen high, hid low. although the halogen high isnt a highbeam, more of a dim daytime running light, you will have much less headaches with them. as soon as i tried to switch to a bi-xenon kit it just gave me way more problems
