question about hids

Default question about hids

i put in hid headlights, and they when i turn the lights on then off and then on again they dont turn on again, im ok with that, but thats not ok for the hella conversion, does anyone know ones that will turn off and be able to be turned back on again? i bought my current pair from ddmtuning

Exact same problem I have..a relay harness with resistors would mist likely do the trick

ok i have a relay and i have resistors, just not put together, i just dont wanna start drilling in to my hellas and making them useless

As the hella's are going to be powered straight from the battery you shouldn't have an issue. I have had zero trouble with the HID's in my fogs or in my hella's.

It sounds to me your problem isn't with the HID's per se, but with how they are wired.

The headlights as the issue is with how the trucks computer reads the resistance of the HID's. The hella's will have no such problem as they are just relayed straight off the battery.

well nvfm i did it today, drilled the hole took out the bulb, inserted the hid, pushed the pins in placed, put on the epoxy, sat there 5 minutes holding it, and turned it over and the epoxy leaked right through to the housing, PISSED
