Default couple ways to save $$- & a big thank you

wanted to say thanks for all the helpful threads on modding the trucks. its cool when you can see & read "been there, done that" info.

this past saturday i installed monroe load adjusting rear shocks, monroe struts,TM leveling kit, upper control arms, sway bar links,& tie rod ends.the oem stuff is some spongey crap for sure.

oh yeah, & on sunday i did the HHR fan/ derale controller deal.
rock auto, summit racing & tax $$,gotta love it.......

since its all been covered before on here i wont bore you with pics other than some different ideas i had on efan brackets & controller mounting but ill start a new thread for those pics.

since almost everyone here ends up swapping out struts & shocks like me, i found this, thought as a way to say thank you i could post these rebates /discounts & maybe it can help someone else out here...

have barn will travel,lol..
if youre doing the lower ball joints on a 4wd find out what size that giant half nut is to take the hub / rotor off with.
i had lowers to do too,but did not have a socket big enough to fit that nut ,so i couldnt remove it & left the lowers for later so i could put my truck back together. my lowers seemed ok, but i was gonna do it all while i had it down.

for replacing lowers only on a 4wd, has anyone here ever tried seperating the lower ball joint then removing the lower a arm while leaving the rest of the knuckle/uppers attached? i know itll screw up alignment dropping the lower, but i hate to beat on all the new stuff up top again to get to the lowers.
