07 Dakota Rear suspension bottoms out

Yeah me either, I'm not sure how you can bottom out the rear suspension in these with just passengers, when it's a truck with about a 1500lb payload capacity. I've had 600-700lbs in the bed, and passengers and not had an issue.

Curious, you guys who say you're bottoming out...do you have the standard rear suspension or the HD package? If you have a rear swaybar then it's the standard suspension.

I should clarrify so that I don't misguide anyone.
I have a 4 leaf pack on my rear I think some dakotas have a 5 leaf spring pack. At the time I had 22x10 rims on the truck. It would ride the bump stop quite a lot. Also when I changed my rear shocks myself the rear original oem ones had about 39k on them and they were absolutely shot. When I put ranchos in, it helped and I also went to a 17x8 rim on beefy sidewalls.
