Default Plugs

So I finaly changed my spark plugs. I put in nkg v powers. the ones recommended under the hood and a .040 gap which is also what the hood said. When I changed them I found out that is what I already had in there. But it was defenatly time to change them out. On a cold engine all of the old plugs were gapped at .056 - .060! Took the truck for a short drive and it feels peppier and more responsive. We will see if there is any mpg to be gained in a couple weeks.

My factory ones were that clean too. Wonder how these 3922s I have are managing. Maybe I should pull them out and check the gap.

Ya I have a v6 also I concidered going with the .035 with but decided to go with factory spec. for my perticular truck. Mine were in there preaty good but I got them out but since there were the v powers already I guess this is the secoind time they have been changed. I bought the truck with 54xxx, now at 60xxx

I would not switch to the 3922, your plugs you pulled look fine and match your trucks tuning just fine.

I just put e3 plugs into the truck. Man talk about a smooth idle. And the initial throttle response is incredible now. I just wanna see an extra 20 miles a tank. 220 just ain't far enough.

how do you only get 220 miles to a tank, I have the same 4.7, I still average close to 400 miles on a tank, 325 if i am out racing that weekend
