I got blue LEDs for the domes and love them. I'm of the same mind on wanting to change my gauges to blue. Sucks we can't.

Has been discussed before but in north carolina and a lot of other states it is illegal to run ANY blue our red lights besides what is oem. Here that can actually arrest you for trying to impersonate a police officer AND seize your vehicle. Not worth it to me. The only thing I have blue is the under dash accent lighting.

That sucks alot, Im only running the Rear Dome blue, and the fronts are White, then I have blue floor accents and HVAC

I had a guy say to my brother (when he was open the pass. door at the liquor store) that my Stobes where illegal, But they are not since they are White/Amber they are just bright. Ive had the police pass me many times when Ive had them on.

I used to have the license plate lights blue in my 2000 Dakota, I also had the Front markers blue (they have a 194 Bulb marker that doesnt flash/signal it was just a marker on each side)
Ive never had any problems here, But im not in the states or a "Huge" city.

I just won a bid on ebay on some super bright, white LEDs. A couple hundred of them for a little over $6 with free shipping. I have a couple of projects in mind both interior and under cab. One thing I plan on doing is replacing that cheazy a$$ under hood light with a couple of lines of these things aimed down into the engine bay. I'm talking like stadium light brightness here for working under the hood at night and I've already calculated that 50 of these lights under the hood in two rows will draw less amps than my USB cell phone charger. LOL...

the law says they could seize a vehicle suspected of being used for impersonating a police officer. I doubt it has ever happened, but you never know.
