Fun times! Power up a hill I hadn't had before. First real foot to the floor: 0-70 in less time than I've ever done. Dang thing even cinched my seat belt tighter.

I think my MPG even went up, and this was with using the tow tune! I wonder what will happen when I try the econo tune?

Don't waste your time with anything but tow....it is the best. Imo.

So my cortex 3950 is up and running. Booted the tow tune, running reg unleaded, and the truck pulls like a raped beast with my manual transmission. I would say $120 bucks well spent.

I think I set it up wrong. I may have input the wrong size tire, by diameter. Speedo is consistently 3 mph faster than my gps.

So, what is the diameter of a 265/65R17 tire in inches?

Measure the tire itself, from the ground to the top. To adjust it (to sync with the GPS), making the tire size smaller will adjust it to your liking (speedo will slow down).

I think.

Weird that speedo is off..I have stock size 245/60/16 and didn't bother messing with the speedometer calibration thing. But I believe stock height is 29.0 inches

Good news is that with the chipset, MPG has greatly improved, like almost 2 mpg over 3 tanks of gas. Should pay for itself soon.

Still need to figure out the speedo thing...

I had the same issue with the and speedo and the 265/65R18s. I think I just shrank the tire size by a .5 inches or something. I cannot recall.
