There is someone on the Custom Dakotas forum that did a retrofit on his 2009 Dakota and it looks sick. Heres the link:

And Dragon, I have thought for years about getting those aftermarket ones but to me they look hideous. This way I can fully customize my lights the way I want. Im not getting the night runners but instead I am going to skin the inside of the headlight with carbon fiber.

And while I have the light apart I'll do my Audi led mod.

I got the retrofit kit and HIDs for $45 on Ebay and hopefully start it next week along with my other projects.

Started my retrofit and this is only the prototype. And as for the price, well:
Morimoto H1 Projectors--$35
H1 Bulbs--$15
Bi-xenon Relay--$30
Apollo shrouds-$15
Misc-- Carbon Fiber skinning kit, paint, and LED white/amber light strip
I ended up finding 2 sets of headlight assemblies at a local Pick-a-Part for $10 a set so I wouldn't have to go without lights on my truck (daily driver).
