Default Tonneau cover - Folding hard vs retractable

Im looking at replaceing my soft tonneau on my 08 dakota quad cab.

Im looking at either a low profile folding hard cover, ( bakflip, undercover, peragon) or a retractable, hard cover (rollbak, retrax, pacedwards)

What would you guys recomend or what do you guys have now??

I have a Retrax on my truck.. Awesome cover, secure, water resistant, looks good too! The ribs are a sythetic plastic material that doesn't dent, and works @ -40C without issue.

I have a bakflip G2 also. I love but like kbond said it dents. Mine has held up well with all the snow we got last winter here in Alaska

I have a Jack Rabbit by Paceedwards. Works good, doesn't leak, is lockable. Only bad thing is you lose about a foot of your bedspace for the canister it rolls into. The canister doesn't do all the way too the bottom of the bed, so you only lose space on top, if that makes sense.

Default I have an Extang solid fold

I like it (was kind of pricey - I think about $600 or $700 installed.) The only issues I have had are:
* The extra cushion/liner pad the added will sometimes freeze to my tailgate in the winter (it gets any moisture on it and that happens), so watch out for that. Adding a light coat of anti-freeze helps for a while (until it wears off) but may not be too good for the paint?
* There are some skinny little rubber seals that keep water out of the joints. One of them will sometimes snake-out and I have to tuck it in.

I used to have a Tonneau Masters (now out of business) vinyl cover with the tilting mount, but it could not mount on my 2010 Dak because of the cargo rails. The current one fits with the addition of some mounts for the connector near the cab (the ones near the gate fit fine as-is.)

I took of some pics it a while back (its posted on here somewhere but I think it's been over a year so here are they are again.)

Cthulhu, how much space at the front of the bed does the retrax take up?

Thank you everyone for your help and input.

Took my time shopping around on craigslist and found a colormatched fiberglass tonneau cover for my truck, looks brand new and got it for $200. Also, recently saw a Retrax for a 2005 for sale on CL, I think it came off a truck that was sold to a dealership, think they are asking like maybe $100-150 for it, I'd check it out on one the national craigslist searches to try and find it, if I come across it again and you're interested let me know.

3rd on the BackFlip G2. I love mine and yeah it does takes dings but it's nice an flat. I would have to say it's one of the best upgrades to the truck I made. I have to kids that play travel ball and I am at a different ball park every weekend, so it's nice to be able to lock-up all the gear and not worry about it.
