Glad you found the source, let us know if that worked. make sure your radiator cap seals good, as this can also cause your truck to overheat.

Very interesting. Now you have me wondering about mine, lol. Remember, what is in your radiator is also through the rest of the engine. Might be an idea to get it professionally flushed to see if they can clean it up a bit. Or maybe when you were running the flush through there it managed to clean the engine water jacket out and everything got stuck in the rad.

Temp seems to be fine now but I'm having another problem. Temp is normal with ac on till I give my truck full throttle, it starts speeding up til 4000 rpm then the motor kinda sounds like its hitting the rev limiter. The truck won't go any faster and the gear won't change and also the temp starts rising a little. As soon as I start letting off the throttle the truck speeds up changes gears and temp starts going back to normal. I have had fuel problems in the past but it was always when my gas tank got around 1/4. It would start doing the same thing but at 2500 rpm. I took it to dealership and had a fuel induction ran threw it and after ran fine. Right now it's on 3/4 of a tank and won't go over 4000 rpm but only when the gas pedal is nailed to the floor. Let up on it a little and runs fine

you didn't happen to puncture the heat exchanger and let water into the trans did you? I'm not sure how the inside or our radiator is.

If anyone needs a new rad I'm lugging mine across Canada and then back home through the norther US.
Now that I have the new MONSTER rad installed the old one which only had about two months use is just taking up box space.
It never had the trans cooler hooked up.

Ok took gas tank down and found orange stuff in the stopping up the fuel pump. It's kinda like round orange ***** that crumble when you squeeze them.
