Question Changing out the Reading/Map Lights?

Ive been trying to change out the reading/map lights in my 2008 dakota, but havent been able to find out how, then lenses dont pop out like the dome light in the back, anyone know how to? Trying to make them blue to match my dome light in the backlights.jpg

They pop out. Look real close at the lens and you can see where to put a screwdriver in to pry the lenses out.

Yeah, a small screwdriver will do the trick.

been trying, but either im not in the right spot,( one side the lens is farther in and the other you cant get s screwdriver in, plus the plastic keeps bending) so i gave up for the day

If you have the overhead computer & homelink console, there is a screw on the bottom towards the windshield that you have to remove. You can't simply pry the covers off.

Oh crap thats right, you have to take the whole thing off to get to the bulbs from the back side. My bad. It's been awhile since I did mine. It is held on by one screw, phillips head.

i undid the screw but the other side wouldn't come off, i was affraid of just pulling it, didn't wanna break it

I think it kinda slides out toward the front, IIRC.

I converted to LED's but don't have the overhead console like you guys.. oh well
