I just pulled my Champions (stock plugs?) which where schmelted and rounded over from being in there forever. The socket portion of the plug was corroded too. I put in Autolite XP5224 Iridium fine wire plugs, and that made a heck of a difference. Given my other plugs were shot, but it runs very smooth now and seems to have a little more pickup. Why buy $7 plugs you ask? With a 2 dollar mail in rebate for each plug, plus the AdvanceAuto $25 off $50 from buying my water pump there makes them about $2/plug! That's a decent price for even the copper plugs.
