Hey, I'm new to the Dakota family, and would like to know the best replacement plugs for my 2007, 4.7 flex v8.

Thanx..Cheers

Not sure there is any 'best' plugs. I have tried several types in my 05 4.7. The best in my truck seem to be Bosch Iridium. Right now I have E3s and it seems like they are not any improvement but they certainly cost a lot more.

Really. I have bosch iridium +4's. I paid up for those, and haven't seen any improvement over stock. Think I'm going to try the autolites next, but gonna run these and get a little bit of my $50 out of em.

There are a few recent threads on spark plugs, here are 2, but use the search feature to dig up some more.

you'll read this, but go for the autolite 3923 spark plugs. Best yet, i put them in 2 months ago, my mpg went up by at least 2mpg( thats something). And the truck just feels better overall idle, acceleration... copper for sure, never platinum.

Spark plugs with multiple prongs hinder more then help. The extra prongs block air/fuel from the spark. Regular copper plugs are typically the best to run since copper is a fantastic conductor (Just about all wiring in house or car is copper for a reason). I'm currently running the E3's because I wanted to try them out and I'm not impressed for $9 per plug shipped.

Copper is the best for these trucks. Platinum, irridium, kryptonite all make them run like crap...at least mine did.
