Official weight of my 2wd
Sounds like the plan for this weekend..I do a lot of highway driving. Just be cautious on exits or what? I wouldn't mind a positive change in the suspension, especially it its free. My buddy says I would be screwed in the snow without it? And Preston, how much did you 20's add in weight?
I didn't weight them lol. But I think it couldn't be more than 5-10 a wheel. The stockers though, I weighed those and they were 68lbs a piece with tires (265/70R16) mounted.
Honestly, about diving in corners.. I don't think you need to be careful anytime. It will feel different in cornering (if you take them fast) so you need to get used to that, but really it's not much.. at least not enough to feel like it's unsafe under any conditions. Removing it really helps with potholes and any time a bump hits only one side of the truck. About the snow, I don't see how it would hinder or help honestly.
I've never driven a pre-runner, but I have driven a few old muscle cars and it reminds me of that when accelerating away from a turn.

I only speed on straightaways, on corners I go wicked slow but come out of them fast sometimes..I think I'll try it Sunday and see if I like it. It saves me money not having to but new links and bushings. I need the struts badddd though. Going to start PB blasting my front end this weekend so it will be prepared
