my dakota ´05 is very loud , when i first start it up every morning it doesn´t make any sound and runs great, but when it reaches some temperature it starts sounding like it´s gonna take off, and losses a BIG amount of horsepower, and it stays like that even if a drive it for hours it just doesn´t go away, i know it should be the other way around, does anyone know what could possibly be happening
What is your temperature doing while all this is going on? If it's getting hot, it is supposed to make that sound. That means the clutch is engauged to pull air towards the engine to cool it off. Completely normal.
