Knock sensors
Got a Check Engine light today when I went to lunch,
used my superchips to check the code and It pointed to the 2nd Knock sensor. (which is attached to the 1st one... )
I used the data logging function to check the voltage of the knock sensors and sensor 2 stopped showing a voltage after traveling about a mile down the road.
My question is, Is this normal for the knock sensor to not be putting out a voltage?
If I have to replace it i have to pull the manifold....

Mice (or possibly obama) have chewed the wires off of the sensors... now i have to pull the intake and replace the sensor. Do i need to replace the gasket? its not mentioned in the service manual I have... Advice???
I would replace the manifold gasket. The last thing you want to do is reinstall the intake and then have a compression leak as a result of a busted gasket..they can't be that expensive, right?
The rats ate the wires for my fog lights too... I found the little Bastard's house in my airbox... I'm guessing a K&N filter can block rat turds too....
I have ordered the sensors and the gaskets and when I pull the intake I'm going to Paint it Hemi Orange... Because I Can...

He'll just claim it was a Bush era mouse. Not his doing....
