Talking anyone installed a rear axel breather tube?

my buddy has a tacoma and while doing some research for that truck i found that tacoma folks are running an extended axel breather that they but in the gas fill. so it gets fresh air and is up and clear. i mean if you have water up to the gas cap thats gonna be the least of your problems. just checking in for ideas and to see if anyone else has done this. im planning on trying this soon. ill post pics. if youve done it pics are always appreciated too

You should already have a breather tube but the only reason to extend it is if you plan on going 4wd in some deep mud or water.

I ran mine through some cheap ebay filters up into my engine bay. Did both differentials and the tranny. This was on my old Ford Bronco that saw deep water/mud occasionaly

Its either do this or you need to change your diff fluid every time you go through the water with the breather tube
