Default Transmission Drain Plug

So, I have a transmission that is supposed to be delivered tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone had installed a drain plug on the trans pan. It would make it much easier to change fluids instead of having to drop the pan and getting oil every where.

I havent on this truck, but I have on other vehicles. Its a cinch; however you need to room the pan initially.

Just buy something like this, drill and install in a spot with a good clearance and voila!

check this site out. they look like they have a pan that has the bung hole already in it. It is actually for the trans temp sensor, but you can put a plug in it.
