Lightbulb Update: Thinking of a leveling kit

2009 3.7L V6 4X2 CrewCab 4doors
Looking to get a 2" front leveling kit and 1" block rear

What u guys think?
Looking for troubles?
Teach me with your experience!

I'm able to learn by reading

$165.95 for the 2"LK
$10 for S&H in the USA
$180 for shipping to Cancun (UPS)
Plus I have to pay for the Custom's Fee before I get it

I think I'm gonna let it go... Too bad is not for sale in Cancun!

I did read a lot of horrible histories online but specifically in our trucks (4X2) what should I expect?

Don't wanna do offroad 'cause its not a 4X4 truck
I just like the lifted trucks look

That price seems a bit steep, this is the front leveling kit I bought: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-2012-Do...-/350586913530

And with my experience with rear blocks (mine cracked after 6 months), I would go with an add-a-leaf kit. I bought this one on amazon:

Looking into your shopping you are right, my search looks expensive! You only expend like $110 US for your kit.

Your rear block cracked because you load the truck a lot or you do any towing? Or what was the reason to cracked?!

Any damage to the front suspension after the lift? Or comfort?

REJECT
The new struts where installed in the front 'cause the LK damage the old ones?
How's the comfort ride now?

BTW I can't tell by the picture but it seems a little bit higher in the front?!

The cast iron blocks cracked just with daily driving. They cracked because they weren't seated 100% flush with the axle plate. There was a tiny bit of wiggle and from the pressure of the U-bolts, they split to conform to the axle.

I actually used a 2.5" on the front and it went in fine. It was a tight squeeze though so a 2" will be a bit easier for you. I have a 2wd so I don't have to worry about CV angles. I'm at 50k miles (I've put 10k on with the lift) and still stock up front except for the struts. I replaced the struts when I did the lift, so I did notice a huge difference in ride quality but it was from the new struts.

Thanks. I used a kit from a local shop. Total performance inc. And he has many options. Check out their website.

And I used a 1.5" block in the rear. I kinda had to. I used the load adjusting shocks in the rear and it gave an extra inch of lift so I didnt want to go to high. In the rear

So after all the measureing I figured 2.5 up front and 1.5 in the rear. Pluse the extra inch from the shocks. Makes the perfect lift.
