Just to verify one more thing: Did you have to cut out the thin plastic piece that sits between the radio cavity and the vents to install your double din navigation? Thank you

Did you cut the bezel with a file? I am trying that and it barely cuts the plastic. Is there something I may not be doing wrong to cut the plastic? My file is old. Do I need to buy an new one so It will work?
Thanks

files don't take much of a bite. plus there is a right and wrong way to use a file.

I'm installing a pioneer 8200 NEX nav in my 2005 Dakota. Is the red/black positive wire hot all the time or only hot when you turn on the ignition. Thanks
