Default tailgate lock

Just replaced my snap on tonneau with an extang trifold. Been looking at tailgate locks. Has anyone installed one on their truck? If so what brand?
Tired of missing items from the bed of my truck.

powered lock: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen..._in_black.html

I have the manual lock. Pop & Lock brand. easy to install and pretty effective (ive never had anyone break in). Kinda wish I'd gone with the power lock tho. So, thats something to consider.

I got a question about tail gate locks, but does t have anything to do with securing the bed. I have a back up camera and I don't like the location. A few truck that Ive seen that have cameras usually mount them on the tail gate latch. So, my question is this...if I got a replacement tail gate latch that had a lock , do you think it'd be hard to dump the lock itself and fit a cam in its place? Have any of you done this or seen it done?

Altair has put a locking latch on his truck. Let me see if he'll jump on, or if I can find his info out. It wasnt expensive and looked and worked pretty awesome from what I remember.

Italian, I cant imagine why your idea wouldnt work. Sounds like a logical way to do what you want.

I have that one too. Never use it though! My hard tonneau locks with a key on top of the cover which is constantly icing up! I'd like to replace that with a T-handle, and eventually get a powered lock for the tailgate. The keys are small, but if you have to unlock 3 locks just to get something out of the bed . . .

I have the pop lock somewhere. I bought it a long time ago but never installed it.
Of course with a soft tonneau cover, it's not the most secure bed anyway.
