There's a big difference between Canadian & US prices for the same things, even though our dollars are very close to the same value. Those 2 filters are actually more expensive in some parts of the country and very much more expensive from the dealership.

YEA!
i should go back and ask for my old pump and parts..cause clearly those werent the issue...so what? i should get back the diagnostic fees cause they didn't even diagnose the steering problem...but they said, oh when we got it you couldnt even turn the wheel.
clearly theyve driven a vehicle before and this is NOT how the steering should be...
not very happy...cant afford to take time off and bring the vehiicle into the shop ....although i cant afford getting in an accident either because my truck didint straighten it self out like it should..

If there was ever a misdiagnosis example, this is it. I would stay away from "Dew-All Transmissions" at all costs and tell whoever you know to stay away as well.

i remember one time on my dads 2005 ram 1500 with the hemi engine he experienced something similar. you would floor the pedal and the truck only went about 10mph tops. the dealer said it was something to do with some sort of fuel control module.. thankfully warranty covered it. And I wouldn't have paid them if they didn't solve the problem, that's complete bs! if they to keep your truck just show up late at night with the spair key..

HEY all- SO i ended up fixing my steering issue - after paying 500 dollars in diagnostics and for a new pump
i got a can of sea foam and sprayed the intermittant driving rod - im pretty sure thats what it is
and its working PERFECT NOW better then ever..
now i noticed my engine coolant was low so i filed it up yesterday, now i look in my driveway and its leeaking and its almost empty again..not sure if there is a leak in the reservoir or the plastic container...but ...gettin pretty fed up, thinking im gonna bring it to the dealer ship..any way to test this out to see which is leaking? maybe get a water and try and fill it up and see where it leaks?
thanks

why would you spray seafoam on the intermediate shaft? that stuff is supposed to go in your gas tank/booster line. i feel like you are trolling everyone.

well i think it might be the intermittetent shaft...coming right from where thedriving wheel appears to be ... whatever - it fixed it- there is different kinds of sea foam..this was a penetrating lubricant. anyway

That sea foam penetrating oil is good, I use it now almost exclusively. That steering shaft is the intermediate shaft, not the intermittent shaft, and it does have an issue with the rear-most U-joint (the one by the firewall) where the angle is the greatest, and if you have a lift, the angle is almost at it's limit so with a bit of corrosion, you can experience hard or "intermittent" steering

For your leak, why don't you go to a do-it-yourself carwash, clean any gunk from around the bottom of the engine, let it dry and then fill up the coolant again. Then I'd put a large piece of cardboard underneath to see where the coolant dripped so I could crawl underneath to see where it was coming from. On the otherhand, if you have excess cash, the dealership will love to see you.
