spoke to the shop on the phone before im bringing it in
they said that spraying the belt wouldnt do that...
so im guessing its the transmission..
it still goes into drive and d2 and d1 and reverse and neutral, i can give it gas butit doesnt move at all.
transmission gone??
160 k on it..

Hard to tell what you really did, but here's a guess based on what you've said. I think that if you greased the serpentine belt, that would most likely cause the crank pulley to spin on the belt (probably burn the belt). The belt wouldn't move, so things like the water pump would also stop - this would cause the engine to overheat and eventually seize. That would probably cost about 5 grand for a rebuilt short block and a new serpentine belt.
So, I got my truck towed to the shop that I called and they told me to bring it there.
I get it there and they tell me theres nothing they can do and the transmission is probably shot.
The truck can start up and if I floor it it will move a few feet in reverse or drive...but now the power steering is gone completely, where the tranny fluid stick is it is smoking.
So I just came home and I need to call some transmission shops, I guess.
Just pissed off that the shop told me to bring it there...and then when I got it towed there and they say there is nothing they can do for it and the transmission is probably shot.
So what do I do? Call some transmission shops and bring it there????

Find somewhere else to take it and get another opinion. Agreed the transmission problem is unrelated to the drive belt, but why on earth would you spray white grease on the serpentine drive belt???
What exactly is wrong with the power steering? What are your symptoms? How did the white grease get involved with whatever you were doing with the power steering? I'm trying to get some facts so we can approach this with some common sense.

Im not sure why i did that, i thought i read that a belt might need to be greesed or something, and the power steering was there...so for some reason i didint think it would hurt to lube / greese up the belt
and the steering wheel was becoming very stiff to turn. yesterday it was getting even stiffer
so this morning i was just seeing if i could try and fix it, i dont know why i tohught it would work, i thought it was part of the power steering mount..
now after i got it towed itwas in the parking lot and i tried driving thetruck a little bit to show themand the power steeringwent completely. ended up pushing it into a parking space.

I can't help but think the serpentine belt is now slipping enough so the P/S pump is not turning, which makes you think there is somethig wrong with it when in fact its just the belt slipping.
I hate to say it, but if your transmission whas been neglected in the same manner as your engine (infrequent oil changes) there is a good possibility it could be fried at 160k. Fluid change intervals are in the owners manual for a reason. I believe the Dak is 60k miles. Fluid changes at the manufacturers recommended intervals are the keys to longevity. You have got to properly maintain a vehicle.
Your post here says you added oil to your transmission for transmission troubles....
