Well I actually took off the TB and cleaned it prior to replacing the TBS and now the IAC. I went to put the IAC in and finally got it yesterday. I started it up even after disconnecting the battery and the idle dropped and stalled out. Is this normal for a new IAC? The reason I'm starting at teh TB is because of my cold start issue. It seems like it takes an extra crank or two now to start up. Then after its warm, it starts fine. Any suggestions? It has around 65k on it. I believe you need to change your oil after the seafoam correct?

Check your battery and charging system since low voltage is known to cause these problems also.

It might take it a few driving cycles to relearn the idle.

When you say he had a bottle of cleaner hooked to his fuel rail, are you talking about "SeaFoam"?
No, not seafoam. This is a pressurized bottle of cleaner. They pull the fuse to the fuel pump and the vehicle runs off the cleaner.

Thanks for the advice! The battery is only a few months old. What do you think would cause the odd cold starts?

Check the starting system out. A problem there could discharge the battery enough to cause problems.
