It looks like it doesn't belong there. Just like what others said, tint or black out the tail lights and it will look good.

Maybe work if the taillights were blacked out and the stripe carried around to the sides.
An angle stripe at 30 or 45 degrees from the wheelwell back to the taillights to tie the whole thing together?
At least then it would flow from side to side.
Just my nickles worth (Canada dropped the penny this year)

You need to tie it in with the rest of the truck. Meaning continue the plasti-dip around the sides and into the body lines, kinda like a racing stripe kind of thing...I think that would make it really pop off IMO.
