Well, my Superchips came in today and of course, I immediately plug it in do all the stuff to update it. Problem is, it's taking forever. It's stuck on the page that has all your information and at the bottom it says "Currently analyzing hardware- Do Not Unplug Your Device"
Does it normally take 15+ minutes?

It takes a good bit. I just leave it and come back to it.

Call tech support and good luck with them. Your not on wireless are you? They blame 99% of the update problems on wireless internet connections. You have to be hard wired.

Yeah, good luck... I haven't updated my tuner in probably over a year, it's always a PITA.

I talked to a tech guy and he said the update wasn't necessary so i went ahead and uploaded the 87 performance tune. Dots it mess with your shifting? Mine truck won't come out of first gear until it gets to around 2500 rpms, no matter how light i am on the throttle.

Oh ok. I'm just not used to it. I'm guessing all the performance/towing tunes do that?

Trust me, I'm already enjoying it. I can already feel the difference on 87 performance and I'm only using that since i have a full tank. Next tank I'll bump it up to 93 since 91 is scarce around here.
