Default Superchips

Now, I know I'm getting a Superchips when funds allow but I'm looking around at all different websites and I'm seeing multiple tuners that fit my truck. The Flashpaq is the one I plan on getting. But i shop around and there's all sorts of Flashpaqs that will fit my truck but they're all different prices and they all have different 4 digit codes on them. Can someone explain this to me?
Thanks,
Tommy

Edit: what's really throwing me off is the price differences I see from Superchips' website compared to autoanything or other stores. And should I really just save up the extra cash and get the Cortex?

Well the difference between the cortex and the regular is just the 2 year powertrain warranty that superchips will give. I'd like to hear of someone who actually ever used that successfully though. You want the 3865 which succeeded the 3815. 3840 is just the starting point for the "newer" dodge programmers. The one for us is 3865, or the 3950 cortex which isn't really needed. There is also the new VIVID bluetooth programmer that links to your smartphone, adds some new monitoring features and such, but no additional performance options.

This is where I got my 3865,

It was 279 when I got it though, you may find better prices but 279 was about the lowest I've ever seen. You could always search the various dodge forums to see whos selling their's. Just make sure they can prove it's not linked to a vehicle.

Yeah. I know on Ebay, "new and unused" they have the 3865 for $279.99, I think.

There's a SC 3865 fight now in the DT classifieds, $200 shipped. You're not going to do better than that.

Just found this on Amazon, it's a really good deal and it comes direct from superchips.

Superchips 3865 Flashpaq for Dodge Gas V8 Gas Truck/SUV, 5.7L Hemi - 300C, Charger, Magnum Cars : Amazon.com : Automotive Superchips 3865 Flashpaq for Dodge Gas V8 Gas Truck/SUV, 5.7L Hemi - 300C, Charger, Magnum Cars : Amazon.com : Automotive

But dakotaff is right, $200 is a great deal, even for used.

Well, I just bought one of the Superchips from eBay, "New and unused," for $279.99. Should be here either Wednesday or Thursday.

Now, before it gets here, would anyone consider it worth it to switch over to 91 octane and upload the 91 performance tune?
And, how long does the upload process take? And are there any problems anyone has encountered with it? I've heard nothing but great things and it's a little late now that I've bought it but I just thought I'd ask.
