Cool True Dual Exhaust

I put my headers in on Saturday and it didn't take me long to run true duals

Got everything done today. Magnaflow 18" di/do with 2.25" pipes and black tips. Exactly what I wanted. Couldn't be happier! I took some pics and theres a video at the end...

Old pipes out & you can see the restriction in the factory Y pipe

love the way they hang, I kept my factory manifolds and went only with a larger y-pipe, into a single 3 inch catback, I too noticed how small the opening was

You ran it just how I want to run mine, after the trans crossmember instead of before it. Mine will be getting done here soon too.

how much did this run you? Should have came like this from the factory..I still have the Magnaflow y-pipe I bought last summer. Exhaust shops just don't like the idea of removing that factory POS and finding a way to mount the new y-pipe. They told me it would be way too much work. True duals looks easier in a way -_-

Paid $620 for it. And I hear ya. I took the truck to 3 different places before finding a shop that wanted to do it. Everyone else just did not want to work with the stock setup because they wanted easy money doing a si/do catback leaving on the stock Y. I finally found a place that was willing to actually work for the money, although he did say it was more difficult than he originally expected. But I agree, true duals is easier than fitting in a new Y.
