Default 2009 4.7 EGR Valve

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has tackled the replacement of the EGR, I would like to do it myself, but if it is too difficult ill get a mechanic to try it.

anyone?

Its not hard at all really, the hardest part is getting those two bolts off the back of the motor, drivers side. That will also be where they get yoy for the labor if you ge t a shop to do it.

I need to change mine on my 06, I'm only 20 but my hands are big, I have a friend that has small hands, couldn't do it. So....Gonna have to waste a weeks check to probably get this fixed at a shop

Who has a picture of this damn thing? I've never even seen it..at 105k I think I should replace mine sooner or later

True that, they really hugged that firewall and trans tunnel with the hemi and 4.7 motors, not to mention the 2 cylinder overhang... its like a damn 80s van under there. But, you have a whole foot in front of the engine to work on water pumps and such lol.
