Angry front end still shaking

So I replaced the top and bottom control arms and discs on both sides. And I'm still getting a shake I the front end but still only at highway speeds like I was getting before I changed them.
Now I do have to go get an alignment this week could this be the problem?

Have you rotated the tires to see if the shake moves with them?

could be tire balance, drive shaft rear drums need resurfacing. Good luck.

Shaking while just driving along? Or braking? I'd do what's been suggested regarding rotating and balancing the tires first before throwing more parts at it. Replacing the disks should not have anything to so with shaking at highway speeds unless it only did it while braking. There are many other front end parts that could potentially lead to shaking besides co trol arms. What lead you to believe replacing those would fix shaking problem at highway speeds? Is it actually shaking or a vibration that comes and goes?

Greatrack2012,

I agree with Jkeaton, you may want to try rotating and balancing the tires before spending more money to replace parts.

Keep us posted when you get the alignment completed to let us know if there have been any changes.

It shakes well driving. It was shuttering when braking witch is why I replaced the discs they were shot.

I replaced the control arms because they were also gone and now that I have the shaking has almost stopped.

its more of a shake. Before I replaced the discs it was a shutter and some what of a vibration when I would brake

I did check those well I was doing the control arms but they were still pretty stiff. I gave them 6 months to a year. Mabe there worse then i thought. the rotation doesn't work mabe I should replace them? Don't really want to get an alignment and find out I have to replace my tie rod ends.

Finally learned how to do more then one quote at once lol
