Default Which type of levelling kit?

I posted this in the tire and lift thread, but decided it might get more answers on its own. So, Which variety of Leveling kit is preferred? I have already read about the polyurethane not being the best where it's cold, so I seem to be left with the choice of Billet or Welded.
Here's a couple of random illustrative pictures...

Billet will corrode, welded will rust. There are pros and cons to each. I have not heard anything bad about polyurethane in the cold. I'm sure others will chime in but to me it would not make a difference.

I remember reading on a thread [possibly here, possibly Pirate, possibly Cummins]. where a guy had a set of those in Poly and they basically cracked and came apart on him. I have been thinking of giving whatever I install a generous slathering of undercoating after it's installed to seal things up a bit. I guess that would help both Billet and Welded. Between the two, I am leaning toward Billet, because any corrosion will be surface and won't structurally weaken the part..

Wow, maybe like in the north pole where temps are like -40....lol.

I've seen the billet ones fall apart from corrosion, probably in the salt states. Metal I've seen fall apart from rust, again, probably salt and heavy offroading through swamps and stuff. IMO, you can't really go wrong with them as long as you take care of them. Your idea is sound.

I just blast everything with the hose when I wash the truck and my truck looks excellent for a New England truck. Leveling kit still looks newish

I have had both the billet and poly kits (currently). I did not notice any difference between the two, except for the installation time. We see -20*F here...so...I have had zero issues with either of them. However, both of them were not ebay junk. The billet kit was from Trailmaster, the poly kit I have currently is from Daystar.

Ok, well I am probably just going to give the Ebay Cheapie version a go and see how it does. I can get a rear leaf and a spacer both for less than a Daystar front spacer alone, and I want the extra spring for the rear instead of just a block. When I get it, If it looks sketchy, I will deal with that then.
