Correct, no resistor. However, make sure and get some good LEDs. Bought some cheapy ones for my 2001 Ram license plate lights back in the day, and they didn't really light up the plate at all.

Oh I know, giving you a hard time. Probably. I noticed them only because I was back there with the lights on hooking my trailer up. I was like WTF is that, and they were both cracked. I have not had a good week with electrical type things. These, my laptop, my one trailer light was smashed from someone or something... ugh. IF its not one thing its another. Better days are ahead.
