Its Chrysler for "gascap."

You didn't bump or remove any rubber hoses when you changed the filter did you?

Make sure your gascap is screwed on tightly. If it is, you could try buying a new one (pretty cheap, relatively speaking).

Ok so I tightend the gas cap ( though it wasn't lose ) and it still comes up. So do I have to hook up a code reader to make it go away or do I have to buy a new gas cap and see if that work's.

Disconnect your battery for a bit, then the code will be reset.

Mine did the same thing, and after retightening and resetting a few times. I wound up replacing the cap.

That's what I ended up doing, So hoping that fixes things. I also ended up buying a code reader because the check engine light came on. When I scanned it. It said there was a vary small leak/ loose gas cap. But it hasn't come on in a new days now so I think it worked

If your CEL comes back check this out... https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...and-p0457.html I just went through it on my 07 after fighting with it for a good few weeks and not being able to find a fix without just swapping parts which would have been pricier.
