one of my fog lights are out!!!! again ; (
So today a buddy of mine noticed the fog light on the right side is blown! I just replaced both my fog lights about 2 or 3 months ago. I got napa to order them from my local Chrysler at a discounted rate. And they cost me $42 a piece ( amazon wouldn't send the order to Canada for some reason when I ordered them ).
So now I'm wondering if something may need to be replaced? Or should I look at after market light's? I'm at a loss as what to do now!!!!!!!

Amazon won't ship to Canada? Thats weird.
I've had my Philips OE style bulbs (same PSX24W bulbs as you, since mine is a 2010) for a few months now after trying LEDs, and they work fine still. What brand are the bulbs that Chrysler gives you?
Inspect the fog light housing, make sure its not cracked anywhere. My wife used to go through fog light bulbs pretty quickly on her 2006 Durango back when she had it, because she constantly cracked the fog light housings (replaced passenger side once, driver's side twice, and driver's side was cracked again when we traded it in). Only had that Durango for a year and a half...

I thought it was odd to. But when I was doing my suspension I also ordered sway bar links and they wouldn't ship them either. No clue why. I will try again. Maybe now they will sell me them lol. They gave me Philips bulbs after I showed the Napa guy that what they had was the wrong bulb. From what I saw the housing looks fine ( but that was last night in the dark ). II will check I the morning and see if it could be cracked. I'll be able to see it better then
I got these about a month ago. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/360656597402?...84.m1497.l2649
took a while for it to come in from China. they are not as bright as the stock bulbs, but they are nice and white and you can see very nice when the fog lamp lenses are not covered in mud, or snow as they are currently covered in.
They are an H16 type, so you will have to trim some of the plastic tabs on it so they fit. just use an old bulb to see which ones you have to remove and go slowly with a sharp knife.

Those are LED, not HID. No ballast required. Should last longer than incandescent.
Oh yes that's right lol. Sorry brain fart . Well I suppose ill give them a try and see how that works

Depends on why the bulb blew. In my case, the driver's side bulb blew due to water getting in. so when i changed mine i made sure to check the rest of the assembly and the wiring harness and made sure it was water tight.
Don't cheap out and get a lower amount of SMB's. they are not bright on their own so a bulb with many of them is needed, and if you can, clean the inside of the fog assembly, mainly the reflectors. and SMB is like an LED only smaller. I'll try and get a pic tonight for you.

Ok what would be a high amount of SMB'S? How do I get the assembly out to clean it I was under there today and can't seem to figure it out? I am learning as I go, and have never really worked on vehicles before. So I'm gonna ask a lot of questions that might seem a little dumb. That would be great if you could get a picture so I can see What ill be getting . Thank you
the 68 like i got is good. what i mean is don't cheap out and get the 18 SMB bulbs. They are pretty cheap if you get them from China but they take 2 to 3 weeks to come in.
to remove the bulb, press on the white tabs on the side of the bulb and pull. press on the tab on the side of the plug and pull to remove it.
As for removing the fog assembly itself to clean it, there are a few screws. i don't remember at this time how many, and i don't feel like laying in the snow to find out. but to clean the inside, i used some soap and water with brushes that i have to clean my aquarium pump tubes. it's easy to bend it and the one i use is soft enough. just make sure to let them dry completely before reinstalling and installing the new bulbs into it.
