If you go with the Curt hitch (nothing wrong with curt!) you will essentially have two hitches on your truck.

Your truck already has the round bendy tube shown in Reject's picture - it is the bumper support. You add the receiver and you are done! And BONUS, you can screw a ball into the top hole and have a bumper hitch - same rating! - if you want.

Moved by mistake. My bad. Moving it back.

Sorry, I meant between the 2 curt hitches. I pulled the ball off my tuck, as I was looking for a bit cleaner look.

Thank you. Seems I'm getting more advice for accessory add ons, than the actual tech mods. I may have to go through trial and error on some items. This will be interesting.

EDIT: Also, is this normal? Dodge days this is nothing to be worried about:

Air box to fender connection.

Not too many tech mods for the V6. I bought EXACTLY the same truck about 3 months ago (2010 V6, Bighorn, Black, etc) to replace my 2005 V8 that had incurable leprosy in the front end.

I like the gas mileage, but the truck is a stripper and it was pretty slow, I just (yesterday!) bought a 2008 V8 Laramie. Much faster, mileage isn't that bad actually. Now its time to sell the V6.

There's almost Zero technical/power mod support for the later 3rd gen Daks. Its a bummer.

A lot of folks claim the V6's have no *****. I'm not seeing that issue much. No clue if it's the 3.92 gearing or what. I've yet to have any issues passing, merging on highways, etc etc. Yeah, I wouldn't mind a V8, but I have to make due with what I have.

Just ordered a BakFlip G2 for $656.00 from AutoAnything. Cheapest price by far on any site that I've seen.
