That's ridiculous. I can't believe that they would treat a customer that way. I would bend over backwards to get the issue fixed without an arguement or a second thought. That's what you would call bad management.

Glad to hear that you won. They lost out on a future returning customer.

Enjoy the RAM.

Hi there, Steve from Victoria B.C. Canada...same prob as you....'05 dakota....leased it new, started leaking on top of passenger side door....they took it apart, said the parts were back ordered. They put it back together without the new parts and it SEEMED like it had stopped....until I found out it was still leaking but not visible anymore...passenger side floorboards like a swimming pool.

same situation, only happens when I park uphill though. On flat ground I can't make it leak.

I took it into the dealer.

1. they said it was fixed, next morning after it rained there is a puddle..
2. My washer sprayers no longer work.
3. they "forgot" to reinstall a weather stripping under the hood...it was sitting right ontop of the engine!
4. now there is a hissing sound coming from my dask

*note to self, in 5 years, do not buy a used 2005 dakota.*
Good to hear they settled with you, Dodge Leaks.
Hopefully the rest of you can at least get a repair (and by repair, I don't mean an attempt to fix). I don't understand how water can just drip in from apparently no-where... hmm.

Hmmmmmmmm... I have the same problem.

my driveway is uphill. I park the purchased in May ... 06 Dakota facing uphill. I get water on the passenger side floor (good thing I put those rubber matts in there.)

Took it into the local Dodge Dealer...they sealed the front window.

Took it home. Next day it rained....and wa-lah puddle again.

Today it is back in the dealership.

Wish me luck.
