Default 05 SLT flomaster 10 exhaust questions.

I am looking to have a local shop weld on a flowmaster super 10. Also I am going to have them remove my resonators and run straight pipe instead. Anybody have the 10 series and how do you like it? Also are there 2 resonators on the 05? Thoughts?

Depends on how old you are. Seriously, younger kids like the raw, raspy, obnoxious sound of the 10 series. Way too loud and way too much drone for my taste.

I had a super 44 on my 03 durango with the 4.7 and loved it. Maybe I will get that instead.

I started out with a 44 series on my Dakota. Lasted about 6 months. So much drone. Replaced it with a magnaflow.

I replaced muffler with a Magnaflow and ditched the two resonators, still love the sound.

Spintech for me on the 4.7, half way between flow master sound and magna flow sound.

I Think I'm gonna bite the bullet and get the 10 series. Like I said I had the super 44 on my 03 durango 4.7 and loved it but It could have been louder IMO. If I don't like it I will buy another super 44 and get yelled at by my wife. There s a nice tunnel in downtown Phoenix that I'm itching to try out.

just out of curiosity, would it sound good to go with a 10 series and leave the resonators? How much do they effect sound?
